Ministries and Outreach
Bible Teaching
Our whole ministry, beginning with our youngest Sunday School class (2-3 year olds) to our various adult classes, is built upon the teaching of the Bible as God’s Word. We believe the King James Bible is God’s preserved Word for the English speaking world.
Bible Preaching
Pastor Harrison has led our congregation since 1982 in a dynamic, evangelistic ministry with messages that are Biblical, clear, and geared to reach the heart.
Music
Our well balanced musical program is God-honoring and offers opportunities for participation by many in the church family.

Youth
King’s Kids - a full scale program for kindergarten through sixth grade is available Wednesday nights (during the school year) with fun-filled games, Scripture memorization, and Bible challenges.
Teen Ministry - our active youth program has monthly activities and Sunday evening “afterglows” for junior and senior high.

Missions
Our growing missions program now includes the support of over sixty missionaries and ministries. The vision of world-wide missions is kept ever before us. An annual Missions Conference is a highlight of the church year. Missions trips to the foreign field are planned regularly for our adults and teens.
Christian Day School
Our school was established in 1977 for parents who have Biblical convictions about the education of their children. Our school uses a Biblically-based, classically-minded curriculum, teaches our Baptist distinctives, and provides a Christ-honoring environment.
Fellowship
Adult fellowships are scheduled through our Sunday School classes along with several church-wide fellowships throughout the year. Prairie Baptist Church is a friendly, family-oriented church with a multi-faceted program to meet the needs of the entire family.

Outreach
Bus Ministry - three routes reaching children and adults in Kalamazoo, Portage, and Battle Creek
Nursing Home - monthly services at area facilities
Keenagers - a monthly meal for the senior citizens in our church and community
